WARNING - CONTENT ON THIS SITE PROBABLY IS NOT REAL

Please be aware that this site is NOT intended to represent itself as a factual news site.  Quite the opposite.  Most everything on this site is fake - although certain factual references can and will be made.  You got that?  Fake, not true, false, devoid of truth...

If you are a public figure/entity, please be aware that libel/slander laws do not apply equally to you as they do to private citizens.  The same can be said for me.  So if you can't take the heat, get out of public life.

If you are a private citizen and choose to engage me in debate, be forewarned that I will hang you out to dry with your own words if you piss me off. 

If you're an attorney and you want to sue me, please email me and I'll direct you to my attorney.  When you speak with my attorney, speak quickly - he charges about $400/hr.  Thanks.

This site will be replete with something called "satire."  If you don't know what that is, look the word up and come back.  If you don't agree with this site, there's a simple solution:  leave.  If you like it, come back - and tell all of your friends.

Bloggers - as long as you aren't a site dedicated to:  porn, gay porn, child porn, animal porn, vegetable porn, mineral porn, porn of any type, violence, terrorism, dedicated political parties, for-profit special interest, any particular government, or porn - feel free to link to my blog. 

This site will NOT use obscene language and this site will attempt to NOT engage in any serious social or political debate - at least not intentionally - but if I feel like delving into social or politicial commentary I will.  It's my blog and I can do whatever I like.  If you don't agree, fine.  Send a comment or simply close your browser and go colour in your colouring book.

If I feel you are abusing this blog, you will be run.  Period.

If this format bores you, doesn't appeal to you, or offends you, or if you just don't get it - go away and stay away.  If you don't mind being made fun of or making fun, then welcome in!  Post away and enjoy.

Any posts to this site become MY PROPERTY and I reserve the right to modify them in any way and take complete intellectual control over them for my own use - most likely in developing some useless drivel that you might actually have the inclination to read.  Oh, and I will make fun of you if you open yourself up to it.  I have hung mine on the line for you to make fun of, so expect reciprocity.  Don't take it personally - use your anonymity and have some fun. 

That's it.  We want to have fun, keep it relatively clean and avoid pissing off the government.  This site is hosted in the states, so you have a bit of leeway, but again - lets all play nice and have fun.

Did I mention that this site is a piss-ant  site filled with crap and very little - if any - of the information has any real meaning or socially redeeming value?  Just checking.  RTM

New Blog for Cayman Islands

Who knows when freedom of speech and expression will be the norm and not the exception in the Cayman Islands.  Until then, we'll have a bit of fun.  This site will highlight current events in the Cayman Islands and will poke fun at everything and everyone.  If you cannot deal with humour, cynicism, self-efficacy and self-degredation, please go away now.

As an American, I've listened for years to people in Cayman bad-mouth the US, US tourists, the US President, etc... When all along Cayman has had its own leader named "Bush" with roughly the same level of articulation and command of the English language - in spite of his sixth-grade education.  And don't get me started on Blair or Castro... That is NOT what this site is about. 

And just so we're clear, this site does NOT represent itself to be factually accurate on anything posted.  Again I say - on this blog, the truth takes a holiday.  However, if you are a public figure in the Cayman Islands, you are a fair target.  You have put yourself in a position to be a target of criticism and satire:  and I plan on taking a few shots.

I hope people will read and comment but be warned:  If you plan on posting lies - you will be char-grilled.  There is a very fine line between lies and satire; cross it on this site and you're toast. 

Push the boundaries, be creative, let your juices flow... but do NOT use this site like the Wight brothers used the Net News site.  This site is strictly for entertainment purposes only and - again - 99% of everything on this site is NOT TRUE, even though facts are used to segue into the humour.
